These days the only people who seem to have anything interesting to say are either fictional or dead.

There are still around 200 people following this blog even though I haven’t been on it in around a year or so. If any of you still remember who I am and actually want to see some words that I typed, I’ve been on another blog for the past year, (although not nearly as much as I was on this one). If you’d like the URL just send me a message, provided I don’t despise you.

I’ve posted this before, but not with the music that inspired it. It’s probably my favourite pen drawing that I’ve done.

I recently discovered that Nicolas Cage changed his family name from Coppola to Cage early on in his career, as his uncle is well known director, Francis Ford Coppola, and he feared that critics would claim that Francis Ford Coppola played a part in increasing his popularity.
He chose the surname Cage after Luke Cage, a character out of the Marvel Comics universe.
As you may or may not know, the URL for my blog comes from the Marvel Comics series Hero For Hire, in which Luke Cage debuted, as Luke Cage is my favourite comic book character, for a more than obvious reason.
Unbeknownst to you might be the fact that I am not particularly fond of Nic Cage’s work, and thus it displeases me that we have this in common, as I don’t like people who I don’t like liking things I like.
tl;dr I’m considering changing my URL.

Blasting White Lies at 1 in the morning, and singing along like a madman. Unfortunately I’m blasting it out of my headphones, so the only sound coming out of my room is the horrible wailing I’m emitting. Good thing I’ve got my window open so everyone in the immediate vicinity can hear me.

Watching this Ben Elton Live thing again. Despite having a BAL well over the legal limit, it’s still not remotely entertaining. I don’t mind his books, and I’m a fan of The Young Ones, but Ben’s definitely not as good as he used to be.

I was only deaf for the first four years of my life, so obviously I don’t remember that much, but my parents told me that while I was deaf I was very quiet for my age. Like, apparently I rarely ever cried, and I assume this was because I couldn’t hear myself crying, so I must have figured I wouldn’t get any attention from it. As far as language goes, I have no idea if I even talked before I gained the ability to hear.

Cool story: I was born deaf. I got better, though.
